Going to rabbit shows is an excellent hobby for the whole family.  It entails getting up early in the morning, placing rabbits into carriers, and driving to the show site.  Competition is often tough, but the rewards can be well worth the wait.

Getting Ready for the Show

  1. Cheek over rabbits to be entered.  Make sure the are clean and healthy.  Brush any loose hairs away, cheek teeth and toenails, (trimming them if they are too long).
  2. Make sure tatoo is easily legible.
  3. Clean trays before shows.
  4. Pack small feed and water containers and a jug of water from home.
  5. Arrive at show, complete entry forms and turn in before entries close.
  6. Be sure to have your animals ready to put onto the judge's table when it is time for it's judging.
